What you’ll be doing:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails, Hotwire, Stimulus, and Tailwind CSS.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.
- Be proactive in identifying and addressing technical debt and optimization opportunities.
- Help establish and maintain standards for coded quality and application design
- Influence the direction of the product and make a meaningful impact on how the company operates and performs
What you bring to this role:
- 4+ years experience as a Full-Stack Developer, with a focus on Ruby on Rails.
- Strong proficiency in Hotwire, Stimulus, and Tailwind CSS.
- Desire to keep up with new trends and developments in the programming community
- Solid understanding of software architecture, test driven development and design principles.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
- BS in Computer Science and/or adequate professional experience (5+ years industry experience)
