We partner with agencies across the country who are at the frontlines of care, but who are currently not tech-enabled and are wasting 60% of their time on administrative paperwork that can be digitized and automated. The position
**
As a Senior Engineer at Mon Ami, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining the core software that our customers rely on. The main expectations are:
- Experienced coding skill set: Able to take high command of a defined area of a codebase. Experience with our tech stack (Ruby on Rails, Bootstrap, Stimulus, Postgres) or possibly a similar framework such as Django.
- Develop people: Support the work of a team of junior engineers and work closely with product managers to complete projects and develop junior talent
- Startup agility & initiative: You’re part of a small, scrappy startup team that punches above its weight. This means getting stuff done, figuring things out, marshaling resources to achieve your goals.

- Have excelled in your role as a junior or mid-level engineer in a fast-growing technology company
- Love exploring creative and innovative approaches to problem solving, including evaluation and incorporating third party software and APIs.
- Have solid experience or beyond with most of the following tools: RoR, Stimulus, (JavaScript), Bootstrap, CSS3, Turbo, RSpec, View Components, ViewComponents, SQL (Postgres), Git, Looker.
- Have a track record of applying excellent engineering practices including: refactoring, careful data design, and testing (we have a 1.4:1 test to code ratio).
- Ideally have experience with Terraform, AWS and/or Google Cloud.
- Familiar and comfortable with Agile methodologies.
- Ideally have experience with building products with PHI in a HIPAA environment.
- Ideally have experience with multi-tenant SaaS products.

This position can be located anywhere, but our current staff are in California and Europe, so there is a requirement to overlap 3-4 daily hours with California and optimally other hours with Europe or California. Some benefits are available only to US residents.**
