The Role
CorePilot is hiring an ambitious Ruby on Rails Software Engineer to
help us scale our B2B SaaS application, purpose-built for the aviation
supply chain. You will work directly with our customers, our designer,
and our founders to ship software that helps users move effectively and
efficiently through their daily workflows. Class-leading software
engineering is a key component to our success.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our designer, developers, and founders to create class-leading software
- At times, work independently and / or directly with customers to
translate feature-requests & bug reports into working software
- Guide the team on Rails best practices
- Learn & use generative AI to build innovative solutions for the aviation industry
- Help shape our product and engineering culture from the earliest stages
What we’re looking for from you
- At least 4 years of experience with Ruby on Rails
- At least 6 years of experience building SaaS web-applications
- Strong mastery of SQL & ActiveRecord
- You may lean towards the backend but you’re an effective full-stack developer
- You are a Manager of One
- Based in the US with 5 hours of overlap with US Eastern time

- Truly full-stack with mastery of both Rails & highly interactive frontends
- Experience shipping Hotwire applications in production
- Experience working remote and/or at extremely early-stage companies
- Demonstrated experience working directly with customers
